PILATES REFORMER
Pilates is a form of total body and mind conditioning that effectively improves postural alignment, balance and control, strengthens and tones muscles, increases lung capacity and helps to reduce stress. Whether you are a professional athlete, fitness enthusiast, sedentary, pregnant or even in physical therapy Pilates benefits everyone.
The Pilates method of conditioning utilizes various apparatuses that are specifically designed to target muscles in a uniform manner by creating some form of resistance. The equipment has adjustable springs used to regulate tension, straps and pulleys allowing the exercises to be performed from a variety of positions, moving carriages, cables, rings, bars and cushioned mats. The most commonly known apparatus is the Reformer which is one of first pieces invented by Joseph H.
