Hockey is one of the most unique sports in that the athlete must possess specific skills of balance, body control, speed, and power, all while skating on ice. For this sole reason, Hockey requires an intense and extremely particular training program, which we at Ultimate Sports Institute are proud to share with you. Our hockey training program encompasses the breakdown of every athletic element the sport requires.
Balance is one of the key elements of our training program. At USI we take this balance a step further to train your body to balance while performing multiple advanced athletic movements. We train speed and acceleration so you can achieve maximum power and reach top speed in short distances. Seeing as how hockey is one of the most physical sports today, we include resistance training to increase overall body strength.
Another key aspect of the USI hockey training program is core strengthening for more rotational power for quicker, stronger slap shots. In the game of hockey, you may only have the chance to score once or twice, so make it count with USI’s hockey training program.
