The Difference: Customized Training

We are all genetically different: different ratio of muscle tissue, psychological, structurally, ht, wt, bf, muscular imbalances, strengths, weaknesses. There are always underlying aspects of training that athletes are looking for – speed, strength, power, etc. One difference in a USI training program is how these areas are developed and progressed for certain athletes based on their sport, age, etc. But a few questions should be raised whenever someone is training another individual or team either for sports performance, bodybuilding or weight loss.
  1. Is every exercise that can be performed or that has traditionally been performed appropriate for everyone at every age level?
  2. Is the person that is leading the exercise program qualified to instruct others on the intricacies of proper form, progression, and injury prevention.
One-On-One Customized Training

A customized, athletic enhancement program utilizing proper athletic progressions of exercise to improve performance and decrease chance of injury. Learn proper lifting techniques emphasizing strength and power, sport-specific exercises, and flexibility training customized to your athletic needs.


Small Group Training for Athletic Enhancement (ages 13 & older)

For individuals who want to prepare for a particular sport or event while training in groups of up to 4 people. Make training even more fun by training with some of your teammates and friends to help gain the edge over future opponents. Training programs will be customized according to the goals of the participants and their respective sport(s).

A progressive strength & conditioning program has evolved into the number one resource world class players and teams turn to in order to take their games to a new level. At any age, simply practicing and/or playing the game do not provide a sufficient stimulus to prepare the body for the major muscular demands of the sport. A well designed training program should elicit greater performance gains due to the body being placed under constantly changing exercise progressions and intensities. USI develops their programs in conjunction with the team coaches to help create the most optimal training program customized to the teams’ goals and athletic abilities. The staff of USI is dedicated to making our clients better athletes to help coaches make better players.
